ORDER NO. 66-7

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on March 19, 1979 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the rescinding of the previous orders in Cause No. 66 for the Cliff Field, Logan County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      On May 12, 1955, the Commission issued Order No. 66-1 which established 40-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and gas from the "D" and "J"' Sands underlying the following described lands in Logan County, Colorado:

Township 11 North, Range 54 West, 6th P.M.

Section 4:  N½

Section 6:  NE¼

Section 5:  N½

 

 

 

Township 12 North, Range 54 West, 6th P.M.

 

 

Section 20:  S½S½

Section 30:  E½

Section 21:  S½S½

Section 31:  E½

Section 28:  All

Section 32:  All

Section 33:  All

4.      Since the reservoir is in a depletion stage and the remaining producing wells are marginal, the provisions of said orders concerning spacing, production limitation and testing are no longer necessary; and in order to promote future development, said orders in Cause No. 66 are no longer necessary and should be vacated and the area described in Finding 3 herein should be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.


 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order Nos. 66-1 thru 66-6 for the Cliff Field, Logan County, Colorado, are hereby rescinded and operations in the area as described in Finding 3 herein, shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.
