CAUSE NO. 65

ORDER NO. 65-10

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on November 18, 1969, at 10 a.m., in Conference Room 260, Columbine Building, 1845 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the vacating of Order Nos. 65-1, 65-2, 65-3, and 65-4 in the Atwood-East Field.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing, has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      Since unitization and a secondary recovery project was established for certain lands within the spaced area, and because of the depletion of the reservoir, making the continuation of MER and GOR tests ineffective, and in order to promote future drilling, Order Nos. 65-1, 65-2, 65-3 and 65-4 should be vacated and the field limits be made to coincide with the unit boundaries, and to substitute in lieu thereof for the lands outside the unit area, the provisions of the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Order Nos. 65-1, 65-2, 65-3, and 65-4 in Cause No. 65 are hereby vacated, and operations in the area known as the Atwood-East Field shall hereafter be governed by Order No. 65-8 for the area that is unitized and by the general rules and regulations of this Commission for the area outside the unit boundaries.

ORDERED this 18th day of November 1969.
