CAUSE NO. 62

ORDER NO. 62-3

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on November 19, 1968, at 10 a.m., in Conference Room 260, Columbine Building, 1845 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the vacating of Order No. 62-1 in the Akron-East Field.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearings has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      Since unitization and a secondary recovery project was established for certain lands within the spaced area, and all wells outside the unitized area are now plugged and abandoned and in order to promote future drilling, Order No. 62-1 should be vacated and the field limits be made to coincide with the unit boundaries, and to substitute in lieu thereof for the lands outside the unit area, the provisions of the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Order No. 62-1 in Cause No. 62 is hereby vacated, and operations in the area known as the Akron-East Field, shall hereafter be governed by Order No. 62-2 for the area that is unitized and by the general rules and regulations of this Commission for the area outside the unit boundaries.

ORDERED this 19th day of November 1968.
