REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on November 18, 1958, at 10 a.m., in the Game Room of the Albany Hotel, Denver, Colorado, after Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider possible changes in field limits for the Frasco Field, Logan County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That on November 23, 1954, the Commission issued its Order No. 48-1, in Cause No. 48, Frasco Field, establishing forty-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and gas from the "J" sand, common source of supply, and defining the area to be known as the Frasco Field.

4.      That subsequent development reveals that the N½, and E½ SW¼ of Section 3, add the E½ NE¼ of Section 4, Township 7 North, Range 55 West, 6th P.M.; and S½ N½, N½ S½, and SE¼ SE¼ of Section 33, and the S½ of Section 34, Township 8 North, Range 55 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, should be deleted from the Frasco Field.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the North Half (N½) and East Half of the Southwest Quarter (E½ SW¼) of Section Three (3), and the East Half of the Northeast Quarter (E½ NE¼) of Section Four (4), Township Seven (7) North, Range Fifty-five (55) West, 6th P.M.; and the South Half of the North Half (S½ N½), North Half of the South Half (N½ S½), and Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SE¼ SE¼) of Section Thirty-three (33), and the South Half (S½) of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Eight (8) North, Range Fifty-five (55) West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, is hereby deleted from the Frasco Field, as defined by Order No. 48-1, Cause No. 48, leaving the area of sand Frasco Field as follows:

South Half of the Southwest Quarter (S½ SW¼), and Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW¼ SE¼ ) of Section Thirty-three (33), Township Eight (8) North, Range Fifty-five (55) West, 6th P.M.; West Half of the Southwest Quarter (W½ SW¼ ) of Section Three (3); West Half (W½), Southeast Quarter (SE¼), and West Half of the Northeast Quarter W½ NE¼) [sic] of Section Four (4); and North Half of the North Half (N½ N½) of Section Nine (9), Township Seven (7) North, Range Fifty-five (55) West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any, and/or all of the above order.
