REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on January 18, 1982 at 9:00 A.M. in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Bellwether Exploration Company for an order establishing 160-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas and associated hydrocarbons, and 40-acre drilling and spacing units for the pro-duction of oil and associated hydrocarbons from the "D" Sand underlying certain lands in the County Line Field, Morgan and Weld Counties, Colorado. It was also requested that a well be defined as an oil well having a gas-oil ratio equal to, or less than 15,000 to 1, and a gas-oil ratio greater than 15,000 to 1, and that all interests be pooled in the 160-acre units and 40-acre units located in Section 21, Township 7 North, Range 59 West, 6th P.M.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. Bellwether Exploration Co., as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

2. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

3. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and or the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

4. Evidence presented at the hearing was insufficient to determine the limits of the reservoir and to make the proper determination concerning the spacing of he field; therefore, the application should be denied.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the application of Bellwether Exploration Co., concerning the County Line Field, Morgan and Weld Counties, Colo-rado is hereby denied.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the above order shall become effective forthwith.
