IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE HAMBERT FIELD, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO |

CAUSE NO. 304
ORDER NO. 304-2 |
REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on August 17, 1976 at 9 a.m., in Room 1B-29, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, as the result of Order No. 304-1 which among other things, ordered that the Commission shall review additional data within 6-months concerning the established spacing pattern of the Hambert Field, Weld County, Colorado.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. That on February 17, 1976 the Commission issued its Order No. 304-1 which established 320-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas from the Sussex formation underlying the Hambert Field, with the permitted wells located in the NW¼ and SE¼ of each section and no closer than 990 feet from the boundaries of the quarter section upon which it is located.
4. That evidence presented at the hearing indicates that the provisions of Order No. 304-1 establishing 320-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas from the Sussex formation should be continued. However, a hearing should be held in six (6) months at which time the Commission should again review data obtained from additional development in order to determine whether the spacing as established by Order 304-1 should be further continued.
ORDER
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the provisions of Order No. 304-1, for the Hambert Field, Weld County, Colorado shall remain in effect.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that a hearing shall be held in six (6) months, at which time the Commission shall review data obtained from additional development in the spaced area in order to determine whether the spacing established by Order No. 304-1 should be continued.
ORDERED this 17th day of August, 1976.
