CAUSE NO. 3

ORDER NO. 3-4          (Emergency)

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

Heretofore, on July 7, 1952, the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado entered its Order in the above entitled matter, being Order No. 3-3, said Order prescribing certain Rules and Regulations for the Fruitland-Pictured Cliffs and the Dakota-Morrison formations, in the Ignacio Field, La Plata County, Colorado.

On September 24, 1952, Southwestern Colorado Oil and Gas Committee, and the Individual Landowners represented by said Committee, applied to the Commission for a re-hearing in the Ignacio matter, Cause No. 3, and a review of the Order No. 3-3 heretofore entered on July 7, 1952.

The Commission has determined to set the above entitled matter down for re-hearing before the Commission, and further, the Commission is of the opinion that it would be in the best interest of all concerned if the Commission suspended its Order No. 3-3 in Cause No. 3, pending final determination by the Commission of the application for re-hearing of the Southwestern Colorado Oil and Gas Committee and the Individual Landowners represented by said Committee.

FINDINGS

In accordance with the provisions of Section 8(c) of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Act of 1951, as amended, the Commission does hereby declare and find that an emergency exists requiring immediate action, and that Order No. 3-3 of Cause No. 3, heretofore entered on July 7, 1952, should be suspended pending determination by the Commission of the application for re-hearing of the Southwestern Colorado Oil and Gas Committee, and the Individual Landowners represented by said Committee.

ORDER

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, That Order No. 3-3, Cause No. 3, heretofore entered on July 7, 1952, is hereby suspended, said suspension to remain in full force and effect until October 11, 1952.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That this Order shall become effective forthwith.
