IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE COMANCHE CREEK FIELD, ELBERT COUNTY, COLORADO Cause No. 276 Order No. 276-3

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on May 16, 1977 at 9 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing, as required by law, on the application of Webb Resources, Inc., for an order to delete from the spaced area, as established by Order No. 276-1, the S/2 Section 8 and the SW/4 Section 9 Township 6 South, Range 62 West, 6th P.M.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. That on September 18, 1973, the Commission issued its Order No. 276-1 which established 160-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and associated hydrocarbons from the "D" Sand underlying the Comanche Creek Field, Elbert County, Colorado.

4. That subsequent drilling and development in the spaced area has established the limits of the common source of supply of oil and associated hydrocarbons in the "D" Sand, to the northeast, and in order to promote additional drilling, the follow-ing described lands should be deleted from the spaced area of the Comanche Creek Field, Elbert County, Colorado:

Township 6 South, Range 62 West, 6th P.M. Section 8: S/2 Section 9: SW/4 and said lands should be made subject to the general rules and regulations of the Commis-sion.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the lands as described in Finding 4 herein, are hereby deleted from the spaced area of the Comanche Creek Field and are no longer subject to the provisions of Order No. 276-1, and are subject to the general rules and regulations of the Commission, and that the lands remaining in the Comanche Creek Field, Elbert County, Colorado, and subject to the provisions of Order No. 276-1 are described as follows: Township 6 South, Range 62 West, 6th P.M. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any part of and/or all of the above order.
