IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE HOLSTER FIELD, ADAMS COUNTY, COLORADO Cause No. 275 Order No. 275-1

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on August 21, 1973, at 9 A.M., in the Auditorium, Social Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Amoco Production Company, for an order granting the approval of downhole commingling of oil and associated gas produced from the "D" and "J" Sands from wells in the Holster Field, located in parts of Sections 9 and 16, Township 2 South, Range 66 West, Adams County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order,

3. That production from the "D" and "J" Sands within the presently deve-loped productive area of the Holster Field is marginal, and in order to make the field operation economical, commingling of oil and associated hydrocarbons from said "D" and "J" Sands should be allowed in the well bore.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that commingling in the well bore of oil and associated hydrocarbons from the "D" and "J" Sands in wells in the area known as the Holster Field, Adams County, Colorado is hereby approved.
