ORDER NO. 26-7 (Emergency) |
REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
By its Order No. 26-5 (Emergency), heretofore and on April 29, 1954, entered in the above-entitled matter, the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado, in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 (c) of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Act of 1951, as amended, found that an emergency exists requiring immediate action. The Commission, on March 26, 1954, issued Notice of Hearing in said cause setting the same for Tuesday, May 4, 1954; and on April 2, 1954, issued Notice of Hearing changing the date of hearing to Thursday, May 6, 1954, at 10:00 A.M., in Room 704 State Capitol Annex, 14th Avenue and Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. That the Commission has jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed Order.
2. That, in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 (c) of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Act of 1951, as amended, an emergency exists requiring immediate action, and that its Order No. 26-5 (Emergency), heretofore issued on April 29, 1954 in the above-entitled matter, should be extended fifteen (15) days, commencing May 16, 1954.
ORDER
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the operators and owners of all wells producing oil or both oil and gas from the "D" and "J" sands of the Adena Field shall not produce gas from any one well in an amount, during any one month, exceeding a daily average of One Hundred Fifty Thousand (150,000) cubic feet.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order shall be effective fifteen (15) days, commencing May 16, 1954.
