ORDER NO. 26-56

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 18, 1966, at 10 a.m., in Room 132, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of' Hearing as required by law, on the application of Patrick A. Doheny for an order eliminating the provisions of Order No. 26-25 as they pertain to the "D" sand reservoir underlying portions of Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36, Township 2 North, Range 58 West of the 6th P.M., Morgan County, Colorado; and on the Commission’s own motion to consider testimony relating to amending Order No. 26-23 by deletion of the area included in said Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That in order to prevent waste, the Commission issued its Order No. 26-25, dated October 28, 1955, which restricted production of oil and gas from the several "D" sand reservoirs underlying the area set forth in Order No. 26-23 and known as the Adena Field.

 

4.      That at the present stage of depletion of that "D" sand reservoir underlying Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36, Township 2 North, Range 58 West, 6th P.M., Morgan County, Colorado, the provisions of said Order No. 26-25 are no longer necessary and should be vacated.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the provisions of Order No. 26-25 shall be vacated as they pertain to that "D" sand reservoir underlying Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36, Township 2 North, Range 58 West, 6th P.M., in the Adena Field, Morgan County, Colorado; however, said Order No. 26-25, as subsequently amended, shall be effective as it pertains to the other "D" sand reservoirs underlying the area set forth in Order No. 26-23 and known as the Adena Field.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.
