ORDER NO. 26-31

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 25, 1956, at 10:00 a.m., in the State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of The Pure Oil Company, for itself and as Unit Operator of the Adena "J" Sand Unit Area, requesting that Order No, 26-30 be amended to include certain non-unitized tracts in the Unit Area. At the hearing, Petroleum, Incorporated also requested said amendment to Order No. 26-30.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That Rule 1 of Order No. 26-30 should be amended to include the following area as part of the Unit Area:

 

Tract 7:

SE/4 of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 57 West

 

 

Tract 14:

NW/4 of Section 31, Township 2 North, Range 57 West

 

 

Tract 62:

SW/4 of Section 13, and S/2 of SE/4 of Section 14, and N/2 of NW/4 of Section 24, Township 1 North, Range 58 West

 

 

Tract 63:

S/2 of SE/4 of Section 13, Town-ship 1 North, Range 58 West

 

4.      That for the purpose of calculating oil and gas allowables by the formulae set forth in Rule 3 of Order No. 26-30, Exhibit "C" of Order No. 26-30 should be amended in accordance with Finding 3 above.

 

5.      That this Order should be considered in effect from October 1, 1956, as requested by all operators who appeared at the above hearing.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Rule 1 of Order No. 26-30 is hereby amended as follows:

 

Rule 1.    The "J" sand reservoir of the Dakota Series in the Adena Field, as used herein, constitutes a common source of supply underlying the area known as the Adena Field in Morgan County, Colorado, as defined in the Commission's Order No. 26-29. The Adena "J" Sand Unit Area, (or "Unit Area") as referred to herein, is that certain unitized portion of the Adena "5" Sand field described in Rule 3 of the Commission's Order No. 26-27, and the additional area herein set forth in Finding 3 above, located in the Adena Field in Morgan County, Colorado, and described as follows:

 

Tract 7:

SE/4 of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 57 West

 

 

Tract 14:

NW/4 of Section 31, Township 2 North, Range 57 West

 

 

Tract 62:

SW/4 of Section 13, and S/2 of SE/4 of Section 14, and N/2 of NW/4 of Section 24, Township 1 North, Range 58 West

 

 

Tract 63:

S/2 of SE/4 of Section 13, Town-ship 1 North, Range 58 West

 

and for the purposes of this order said Unit Area shall be deemed one producing property.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Exhibit "C" of said Order No. 26-30 is hereby amended as follows:

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that, at the request of the operators, this order shall be effective as of October 1, 1956.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above orders, rules and regulations due to changed conditions in the field which may occur as a result of future drilling and development, or otherwise,
