IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE DRAGOON FIELD, ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO Cause No. 253 Order No. 253-2

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on October 17, 1972, at 9 A.M., in Room 132, State Services Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Amoco Production Company, for an order extending the field limits of the Dragoon Field, and establishing for the addi-tional area SO-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil from the "D" Sand as provided for in Order No. 253-1.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. That due notice of the time, place, and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. That on April IS, 1972, the Commission issued its Order No. 253-1 which, among other things, established 80-acre drilling and spacing units for the produc-tion of oil from the "D" Sand underlying the Dragoon Field, and the permitted well for each unit to be located in the center of the NE/4 and SW/4 of each quarter section, with a tolerance of 200 feet in any direction to avoid surface hazards or obstructions.

4. That testimony presented at the hearing indicates a common source of supply of oil underlies, in addition to the area set forth in Order No. 253-1, the following described lands in Arapahoe County, Colorado to-wit:

Township 5 South, Range 62 West, 6th P.M. Section 6: All Section 7: N/2

and that such area should be made subject to the provisions of Order No. 253-1.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the area set forth in Finding 4 herein shall be subject to the provisions of Order No. 253-1, and the Dragoon Field shall henceforth include the following described lands in Arapahoe County, Colorado, to-wit-
