ORDER NO. 207-3

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on March 16, 1981 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of Voyager Petroleum, Inc., for an order to extend the limits of the spaced area of the Powder Wash Field, Moffat County, Colorado, as established by Order No. 207-2.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      Voyager Petroleum, Inc., as applicant herein, is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

 

2.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

3.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

4.      On January 16, 1968, the Commission issued Order No. 207-2 which established 160-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil and gas from the Ft. Union formation underlying certain lands in the Powder Wash Field.  The units consist of 160-acres consisting of a governmental quarter section with the permitted well located in either the center of the NE¼ or SW¼ of the quarter section with a 200 foot tolerance to avoid surface hazards.

 

5.      Testimony presented at the hearing indicates the common source of supply of oil and gas in the Ft. Union formation underlies in addition to the area as set forth in Order No. 207-2 the following described lands in Moffat County. Colorado. to-wit:

and that such lands be made subject to the provisions of Order No. 207-2.


 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the area as set forth in Finding 5 herein shall be subject to the provisions of Order No. 207-2 and the spaced area of the Powder Wash Field shall henceforth include the following described lands in Moffat County. Colorado to-wit:

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the above order shall become effective forthwith.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above order.
