ORDER NO. 2-18

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado, at 10:00 A.M., March 23, 1954, at 704 Capitol Annex Building, Denver, Colorado, pursuant to Notice of Hearing, upon application of the Rangely operators and on the Commission's own motion, to modify the Commission's Order No. 2-8 heretofore entered in the above-entitled matter, so as to amend Rule 6 of Order No. 2-8 to change the dates therein.

 

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due Notice of the time, place and purpose of the Hearing in this matter was given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the following prescribed Order.

 

3.      That Rule 6 of Order No. 2-8 should be amended to read as follows:

 

"The datum reservoir pressure of certain key wells in the field shall be determined annually during the month of June. The key wells shall be selected by the operators with the approval of the Commission. The results of each such annual survey shall be reported to the Commission on or before the 15th day of July of each year. All pressure determinations shall be made at a datum of nine hundred (900) feet below sea level, and after the well has been shut in for a period of not less than seventy-two (72) hours."

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Rule 6 of Order No. 2-8 should be amended to read as follows:

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that this Order shall become effective forthwith.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after Notice and Hearing, to alter, amend, or repeal any and/or all of the above orders, rules, and regulations.
