CAUSE NO. 2

ORDER NO. 2-14

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado on September 22, 1953 at 10:00 A.M., 704 State Capitol Annex, 14th Avenue and Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, pursuant to Notice of Hearing, upon application of the Union Pacific Railroad Company and The Texas Company to consider modification of the Commission's Order No. 2-13 heretofore entered in the above entitled matter, so as to permit the flaring of wet gas produced from the Weber Reservoir which, solely because of the lack of capacity of the gasoline plant, cannot be processed through the gasoline plant, and such other matters.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

(1)     That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing in this matter was given in all respects as required by law.

(2)     That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said notice and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the following prescribed Order.

(3)     That on August 11, 1953, after proper notice and hearing, the Commission entered its Order No. 2-13 in the above entitled matter, to become effective on September 15, 1953.

(4)     That to permit the flaring of all wet gas produced from the Weber Reservoir which, solely because of the lack of capacity of the gasoline plant cannot be processed through the gasoline plant, would be waste of oil and gas in excessive and unreasonable amounts.

(5)     That Rule 8 of Order No. 2-13 should be amended by changing the date required for filing the certified report on form OGCC-11 from the 15th day of each and every month to the 25th day of each and every month, commencing October 25, 1953.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the application of the Union Pacific Railroad Company and The Texas Company to modify Order No. 2-13 so as to permit the flaring of all wet gas produced from the Weber Reservoir which, solely because of the lack of capacity of the gasoline plant cannot be processed through the gasoline plant, is hereby denied.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Rule 8 of Order No. 2-13 be amended to read as follows:

"In addition to the reports required in Order No. 2-8, each operator shall submit to the Commission on form OGCC-4 a certified report, on the 25th day of each and every month, commencing October 25 1953, covering the gas injection operations of such operators for the preceding calendar month or fraction thereof if applicable, showing such information as therein prescribed, to enable the Commission to properly administer Rule 3B of Order No. 2-8 and this Order."

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order shall become effective forthwith.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission expressly reserves its right after notice and hearing to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above orders, rules and regulations.

ORDERED this 16th day of October 1953, by the Oil and Gas Conservation of t he state of Colorado.
