REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This matter came on for further hearing before the Commission on May 5, 1953 at 10:00 A.M. at Room 704 State Capitol Annex, 14th Avenue and Sherman, pursuant to Notice of Hearing issued by the Commission on its own motion to consider the proposed plans of gas injection submitted by the operators pursuant to Order No. 2-9 of the Commission and to enter such further orders as may be necessary to put into effect Rule 3-b of Order No. 2-8 heretofore entered by the Commission.

 

After receiving testimony, the hearing on May 5 was continued by the Commission until Tuesday, May 19, 1953. At the termination or the hearing on May 5, the Commission announced that it would further extend the effective date of Rule 3-b and the period for compliance with Rule 3-a of Order 2-8 from June 1, 1953, but would retain jurisdiction or the matter to consider further the gas injection plans submitted by the operators after a decision by the Court in the litigation in connection with Orders No. 2-8 and No. 2-9 in this matter.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

(1)     That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing in this matter was given in all respects as required by law.

 

(2)     That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said notice and of the parties interested therein, and Jurisdiction to promulgate the following prescribed Order.

 

(3)     That the Order or Orders hereinafter prescribed are necessary in order that the roll compliance with the Commission's Orders No. 2-8 and No. 2-9 can best be accomplished.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the effective period for compliance with the provisions of Rule 3-a of Order No. 2-8, as amended by Orders No. 2-9 and No. 2-10, is hereby extended to be effective during the one month period from May 31, 1953 to and including June 30, 1953.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the effective date of Rule 3-b of Order No. 2-8, as amended by Orders No. 2-9 and No. 2-10, is hereby extended to July 1, 1953.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that further hearing in connection with the proposed gas injection plans is hereby continued to Tuesday, June 2, 1953 at 10:00 A.M. at Room 704, State Capitol Annex, 14th Avenue and Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado.

 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order shall become effective forthwith.
