REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on arch 21, 1988 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado after giving Notice of Hearing, as required by law on the Commission's own motion, concerning the violation of Rule 326 of the Rules and Regulations by Murfin Drilling Company.
FINDINGS
1. Due Notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matte embraced in said Notice and of the parties interested therein, an jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. Murfin Drilling Company commenced injection of water into well No. 7-12 Love, located in the SE NW Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 45 West, 6th P.M., Golden Spike Field, Cheyenne County, Colorado, without approval of the Commission. This is in violation of Rule 326 of the Rules and Regulations of the Commission.
4. Murfin Drilling Company, by its engineer, at the time of the hearing, acknowledged that injection had occurred, and had been reported to the Commission as required, under the impression approval had been granted.
5. A prior occurrence by Murfin Drilling Company of a very similar nature in May 1984 resulted in a reprimand by the Commission.
6. The Commission determined that a significant violation of the Rules and Regulations of the Commission had occurred, and a penalty of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars $3500.00 should be assessed.

NOW THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, that Murfin Drilling Company in accordance with 34-60-121 C.R.S., as amended, is hereby assessed a fine of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3500.00), which should be submitted to the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, State of Colorado, within thirty (30) days upon receipt of this order.
