REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the commission on November 16, 1987 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing, as required by law on the Commission's own motion, concerning the violation of Rule 326 of the Rules and Regulations by Amoco Production Company.

FINDINGS

l. Due to notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. Amoco Production Company commenced injection of water into Well No. 1 State AR, located in the SW1/4 SW1/4 Section 16, Township 32 South, Range 67 West, 6th P.M., Las Animas County, Colorado without approval of the Commission. This is in violation of Rule 326 of the Rules and Regulation of the Commission.

4. Amoco Production Company, by it's attorney, at the time of hearing, acknowledges it's failure to obtain proper approval prior to commencement of injection of water into said well and the Commission determined that a significant violation of the Rules and Regulations did occur, and a penalty of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,,500,00) should be assessed.

O R D E R

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Amoco Production company, in accordance with 34-60-121 C.R.S., as amended, is hereby assessed a fine of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), which is to be remitted to the Oil and Gas conservation Commission, State of Colorado within thirty (30) days upon receipt of this order.
