REPORT OF THE COMMISSION
This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on February 15, 1966, at 10 a.m., in Room 330, State Office Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of the North Sterling Irrigation District for an order providing that no permits be granted without a hearing, for the drilling of an oil and/or gas well within the basin and below the high water line of the North Sterling Irrigation District Reservoir, on certain described lands in Logan County, Colorado.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.
2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. That the request of a water irrigation district that it be notified of plans to drill a well for oil and/or gas within the highwater line of its water storage reservoir is a reasonable request.
4. That the North Sterling Irrigation District maintains a water storage reservoir which, when filled to the highwater line, covers all or parts of the following described lands in Logan County, Colorado, to-wit:

5. That when an application has been filed with the Director of the Commission for a permit to drill a well at a surface location with a sea level elevation of less than 4080 feet on any of the above-described lands, the North Sterling Irrigation District should be notified of such application, and should be given fifteen (15) days after such notification in which to request a hearing.
ORDER
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the North Sterling Irrigation District shall be notified when an application has been filed with the Director of the Commission for a permit to drill a well at a surface location with a sea level elevation of less than 4080 feet on any of the following described lands in Logan County, Colorado, to-wit:

M E M O
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS AND TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
On February 15, 1966, the Commission issued its Order No. 194-1, which order included an area of notification to the North Sterling Irrigation District prior to approval of drilling permits. It has come to our attention that two locations set forth in Finding 4 and in the Order were incorrect. Both locations are in Township 9 North, Range 53 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado.
The first, Section 10, should have been W½NE¼, SE¼NE¼, W½, W½SE¼; the second, Section 17, should have been E½NE¼.
The Commission hereby notifies all operators and interested parties, and requests that they make corrections on their Order No. 194-1 previously distributed by the Commission.
