CAUSE NO. 177

ORDER NO. 177-1

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on December 3, 1963, at 10 A.M., in Room 330, State Office Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing and receipt of appropriate Waiver of Service thereof, all as required by law, on the application of the Greenoak Oil Company for an exception to Rule 317 of the Rules and Regulations of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado, insofar as the rule pertains to the Tidal No. 1 well; and for an order which will authorize commencement of production from the "J" sand formation through said well.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That testimony presented at the hearing indicates that the Tidal No. 1 well located in the NE¼SW¼ of Section 15, Township 8 North, Range 54 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, should be allowed to produce from the "J" sand formation; and that such a completion will not adversely affect the correlative rights of offset owners and operators, and will reasonably protect the correlative rights of the owners of said well.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the owner of the Tidal No. 1 well located in the NE¼SW¼ of Section 15, Township 8 North, Range 54 West, 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado, is hereby authorized to complete said well in the "J" sand formation for production of oil and gas.

ORDERED this 3rd day of December 1963.
