ORDER NO. 166-6

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on June 18, 1963, at 10 a.m., in Room 330, State Office Building, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing and service or appropriate waiver thereof, on the application of The Sidwell Corporation for an order authorizing, because of topography, the location of a well to be drilled as an exception to the spacing pattern established by Order No. 166-1.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      That testimony presented at the hearing indicates that, because of topography, an alternate location to the well location provided in Order No. 166-1 for the permitted well, should be granted for a well to be drilled in the E˝SEĽ of Section 24, Township 10 South, Range 96 West, provided that if the well is drilled in the E˝SEĽ of said Section 24, it should be located not closer than 330 feet from section lines.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that an exception is hereby granted for an alternate location for the permitted well for the drilling unit defined as Section 24, Township 10 South, Range 96 West, 6th P.M., in the Plateau Field, Mesa County, Colorado, and such permitted well may be located in the E˝SEĽ of said Section 24, provided that if the well is drilled in said alternate location, it shall be located not closer than 330 feet from section lines.
