IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE "D" SAND OF THE TREND FIELD, MORGAN COUNTY, COLORADO	) ) ) )	CAUSE NO. 125 ORDER NO. 125-3

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on May 22, 1962, at 10 a.m., in Room 320E, State Capitol, Denver, Colorado, after publication of Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the application of the Far West Trading Company for an order amending Rule 3 of Order No. 125-1, issued February 11, 1959, by the addition of another gas drilling unit consisting of the SE¼ of Section 35, Township 5 North, Range 60 West, 6th P.M., Morgan County, Colorado, for production of gas from the D-1 sand formation; and providing that the well drilled in the NW¼ SE¼ of said Section 35 be the permitted well for such designated unit.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parries interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      That subsequent development in the Trend Field indicates that Rule 3 of Order No. 125-1 should be amended by the addition of a drilling unit for the production of gas from the D-1 sand formation, said drilling unit to consist of the SE¼ of Section 35. Township 5 North, Range 60 West, 6th P.M., Morgan County, Colorado; and that the Far West Trading Company's Sutton No. 1 well, located in the NW¼SE¼ of said Section 35, be the permitted well for said unit.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Rule 3 of Order No. 125-1, Cause No, 125, is hereby amended to include an additional drilling unit for production of gas from the D-1 sand formation, such gas unit to consist of the SE¼ of Section 35, Township 5 North, Range 60 West of the 6th P.M., in the Trend Field, Morgan County, Colorado; and the Far West Trading Company"s Sutton No. 1 well, located in the NW¼SE¼ of said Section 35, shall be the permitted well for such drilling unit.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal the above order.
