CAUSE NO. 110

ORDER NO. 110-6

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on March 19, 1979 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the rescinding of Order Nos. 110-2, 110-3 and 110-5 for the Elm Grove Field, Logan County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3.      On March 14, 1958, the Commission issued Order No. 110-2 which established a production limitation on wells producing from the "D" Sand.  In addition, GOR tests were required quarterly.  Order No. 110-3 and 110-5 amended Order No. 110-2 allowing transfer of allowables and increase in production limitation.  The area involved is described as follows:

Township 6 North, Range 53 West, 6th P.M.

Section 15:  SW¼, S½NW¼

Section 16:  E½

4.      Since the reservoir is in a depletion stage and the only remaining producing wells are marginal, the production limitations and GOR tests are no longer necessary; and in order to promote future development, Order Nos. 110-2, 110-3 and 110-5 are no longer necessary and should be vacated and the area described in Finding 3 herein, should be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order Nos. 110-2, 110-3 and 110-5, Elm Grove Field, Logan County, Colorado, are hereby rescinded and operations in the area, as described in Finding 3 herein, shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDERED this 19th day of March, 1979.
