IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE SPINDLE FIELD, ADAMS AND WELD COUNTIES, COLORADO Cause No. 250 Order No. 250-13

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on December 20, 1976 at 9 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing, as required by law, on the application of Amoco Production Company for an order amending Order No. 250-12, 262-4 and 266-4 for the Spindle Field, to vacate the 80-acre drilling and spacing units, effective May 18, 1976, and further to provide for infill or additional drilling of a second well on those 80-acre tracts in which all interests theretofore have been consolidated by pooling agreements.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. That due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. That the Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. That on May 18, 1976 the Commission issued its Order No. 250-12, 262-4 and 266-4 which authorized the drilling of an additional well on each .80-acre drilling and spacing unit for the production of oil from the Sussex and/or Shannon forma-tion underlying certain lands in Weld County, Colorado.

4. That said order should be amended to include that the undeveloped 80-acre tracts in which all interests have not been previously consolidated by comunitiza-tion, pooling agreements or otherwise, may be developed as 40-acre units.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order No. 25.0-12, 262-4 and 266-4 is hereby amended and the undeveloped 80-acre tracts which have not been previously consolidated by coremunitization, pooling agreements, or otherwise may be developed as 40-acre units.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in this order shall become effective forthwith.
