IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE CAMPANA FIELD, ADAMS COUNTY, COLORADO Cause No. 243 Order No. 243-3

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on February 16, 1979 at 9 A.M., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion, to consider the rescinding of Order Nos. 243-1 and 243-2 for the Campana Field, Adams County, Colo-rado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. On October 19, 1971, the Commission issued its Order No. 243-1 which established 320-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas from the "J" Sand underlying lands in the Campana Field. The units consist of the N/2 and S/2 and the E/2 and W/2 of a section. Order No. 243-2 allowed for an exception to the spacing pattern. The spaced area consists of the following described lands in Adams County, Colorado, to -wit: Township 2 South, Range 58 West, 6th P.M. Section 6: All Section 19: All Section 7: All Section 30: All Section 18: All Township 2 South, Range 59 West, 6th P.M. Section 1: All Section 24: All Section 12: All Section 25: All Section 13: All Section 26: All Section 23: All

4. Since all wells producing gas from the "J" Sand in the area described in Finding 3 herein are now plugged and abandoned, and in order to promote future development Order Nos. 243-1 and 243-2 are no longer necessary and should be vacated and the area described in Finding 3 herein, should be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order Nos. 243-1 and 243-2 for the Campana Field, Adams County, Colorado, are hereby rescinded and operations in the area as described in Finding 3 herein, shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.
