REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on June 17, 1985 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110 State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion, to consider the rescinding of Order Nos. 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 and 20-4 for the Battle Canyon Field, Weld County, Colorado.

[sic] Order No. 20-2 on September 20, 1960 approved a certain unit agreement for the "J" Sand underlying a unit area composed of a portion of the lands described herein above. Order No. 20-3 added the W/12NE/14, E/12NW1/4 and NW1/4NW1/4 of Section 27, Township 11 North, Range 56 West to the unit area.  By Order No. 20-4 on June 10, 1970, a 320-acre unit was established for production of gas and associated hydrocarbons from the "J" Sand underlying the E1/2 Section 23, Township 11 North, Range 56 West.

4.      Since all wells in the areas described above are plugged and abandoned and in order to promote future development, Order Nos. 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 and 20-4 are no longer necessary and should be rescinded and the land described herein above made subject to the general rules and regulations of the Commission.
