EMERGENCY ORDER
This cause came before the Commission on February 22, 1996 at 3:30 p.m., in Suite 801, The Chancery Building, 1120 Lincoln Street, Denver, Colorado, to consider the issuance of an emergency order pursuant to Section 34-60-108 (3) to withhold issuance of any application for permits to drill submitted by CIS Oil & Gas, Inc.
FINDINGS
The Commission finds as follows:
1. CIS Oil & Gas, Inc. is an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.
2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.
3. That as indicated in Order No. 1C-1, the cease and desist order issued February 22, 1996, the Commission finds the facts and circumstances constitute an emergency situation due to the frequency and number of violations.
4. The Commission should order the Director to withhold issuance of any application for permits to drill submitted by CIS Oil & Gas, Inc., for the duration of the emergency order.
O R D E R
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the Director shall withhold issuance of any application for permits to drill submitted by CIS Oil & Gas, Inc.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that this emergency order shall remain in effect for no more than fifteen (15) days from the date the order is promulgated.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above orders.
