ORDER NO. 125-4

 

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

 

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on February 16, 1979 at 9 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the Commission's own motion to consider the rescinding of Order Nos. 125-1, 125-2, 125-3 for the Trend Field, Morgan County, Colorado.

 

FINDINGS

 

The Commission finds as follows:

 

1.      Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

 

2.      The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

 

3.      On February 11, 1959, the Commission issued Order No. 125-1 which established 40-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of oil from the "D2" Sand and two (2) 240-acre drilling and spacing units for the production of gas From the "D1" Sand underlying lands in the Trend Field.  In addition, the order established allowables and provided for monthly gas-oil ratio tests and bi-annual reservoir pressure tests.  Subsequent Order Nos. 125-2 and 125-3 added lands to the spaced area both for the production from the "D2" Sand and an additional unit for production of gas from the "D1" Sand.  The spaced area consists of the following described lands in Morgan County, Colorado, to-wit:

4.      Since all the wells producing gas from the "D1" Sand in the area described herein are now plugged and abandoned, and only one marginal producing oil well remains, and in order to promote future development, Order Nos. 125-1, 125-2 and 125-3 are no longer necessary and should be vacated and the area described in Finding 3 herein, should be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.

 

ORDER

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Order Nos. 125-1, 125-2 and 125-3 for the Trend Field, Morgan County, Colorado, are hereby rescinded and operations in the area as described in Finding 3 herein, shall be governed by the general rules and regulations of the Commission.
