IN THE MATTER OF THE PROMULGATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD RULES TO GOVERN OPERATIONS IN THE YOUNG FIELD, MORGAN COUNTY, COLORADO Cause No. 115 Order No. 115-6

REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause came on for hearing before the Commission on June 18, 1993 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 318, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado on the motion of the Commission to consider rescinding all orders in Cause No. 115 for the "D" Sand Formation in the Young Field, Morgan County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

The Commission finds as follows:

1. Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

2. The Commission has jurisdiction over the subject matter embraced in said Notice, and of the parties interested therein, and jurisdiction to promulgate the hereinafter prescribed order.

3. On January 28, 1958, the Commission authorized Order No. 115-1 to be issued, which established 320-acre drilling and spacing units for production from the "D" Sand Formation for the below-described lands:

Township 4 North, Range 58 West, 6th P.M.

Section 10: All Section 11: All Section 12: W1/2 Section 13: W1/2 Section 14: All Section 15: All Section 22: NE1/4 Section 23: N1/2

4. On May 16, 1961, the Commission authorized Order No. 115-5 to be issued, which deleted certain lands from the Young Field and left the below-described lands as the spaced area for the Young Field:

Township 4 North, Range 58 West, 6th P.M.

Section 11: All Section 12: W1/2 Section 13: SW1/4 Section 14: All Section 15: E1/2 Section 23: NW1/4 Section 24: NW1/4

5. Records of the Commission indicate that no production has been reported since 1986 from the "D" Sand Formation underlying the lands described herein above, and that no wells have been drilled in the Young Field since 1980.

6. The Commission should enter an order rescinding all orders in Cause No. 115 to encourage the development and production of oil and gas resources and the Rules and Regulations of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission should govern future operations in the lands described in Finding 4. herein above.

ORDER

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that all orders in Cause No. 115 are hereby rescinded and that the Rules and Regulations of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission shall govern future operations in the lands described in Finding 4. herein above.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the provisions contained in the above order shall become effective forthwith.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission expressly reserves its right, after notice and hearing, to alter, amend or repeal any and/or all of the above orders.
