REPORT OF THE COMMISSION

This cause come on for hearing before the Commission on August 17, 1987 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 110, State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, after giving Notice of Hearing as required by law, on the request of G.E. Humiston and Lois M. Humiston (Humistons) to be exempt from the bonding requirements as provided for well No. 1 Humiston located in the SE¼ NW¼ Section 33, Township 36 North, Range 13 West, N.M.P.M., Montezuma County, Colorado.

FINDINGS

1.   G. E. Humiston and Lois M. Humiston, as applicants, are an interested party in the subject matter of the above-referenced hearing.

2.   Due notice of the time, place and purpose of the hearing has been given in all respects as required by law.

            3.   The gas from said well, of extremely low volume, is to be used for heating of home and barns on the Humiston's property.

            4.   The Humistons, as owners of the well, should assume full liability relating to the production of gas from said well as well as the responsibility to properly plug and abandon the well at such time as production is no longer available.

            5.   Security in the sum of not less than five hundred (500) dollars should be posted with the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

            6.   The Humistons should record this Order with the Clerk and Recorder of Montezuma County.

ORDER

NOW THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, that G.E. Humiston and Lois M. Humiston (Humistons) shall post security with the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is the sum of not less than five hundred (500) dollars for operation of well No. 1 Humiston, located in the SE¼ NW¼ Section 33, Township 36 North, Range 13 West, N.M.P.M., Montezuma County, Colorado for domestic purposes on their property.

        IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Humistons shall assume full liability relating to the production of gas from said well as well as the responsibility to properly plug and abandon said well at such time as production is no longer available.

        IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that 'the Humistons shall record this order with the Clerk and Recorder of Montezuma County, Colorado.
