ARROWHEAD FIELD,

CHEYENNE COUNTY, COLORADO

APPLICATION

Monument Gas Marketing, Inc. (“Applicant”), a Colorado corporation, hereby makes application to the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission of the State of Colorado to partially rescind the previously established field rules adopted under Cause No. 509, Docket No. 11-5, as such pertain to lands located within Cheyenne County, Colorado.

Applicant owns valid and subsisting oil and gas leases covering the entire mineral estate of Section 34 of Township 16 South, Range 46 West, 6^th P.M., and desires to conduct exploratory operations in search of oil and gas in accordance with statewide rules. In the interests of conservation and orderly development, given that there are no producing wells within the Arrowhead Field in Cheyenne County, future operations subject to the existing field rules impose insurmountable hurdles that can only be remedied by abandonment of the existing field rules in favor of returning to statewide rules.

The lands requested to be returned to statewide rules are these:

Township 16 South, Range 46 West, 6^th P.M.

Sections 25, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, 35, 36

Therefore, Applicant respectfully requests that this matter be set for hearing in July, 2004.
